Botswana: Okavango Delta, Chobe and Makgadikgadi Pans

Most Cape Town to Victoria Falls overland tours run between 21 and 26 days. Best time of year to travel
The short answer is May to October. Southern Africa’s dry season runs through these months, bringing cooler temperatures, clear skies and optimal game-viewing conditions as wildlife concentrates around permanent water sources. Victoria Falls is at its most thunderous after the rains, typically March to May, though by peak dry season the spray is still impressive.
